Thomas & Friends

We went to see Thomas & Friends at Marina Square today. See, I even dressed up for the occassion. Wow! the queue started about an hour before the show started! We were almost at the end of the queue... A nice little boy gave me his "Meet & Greet" card... thus I managed to take photo with the Fat Controller & Thomas the Train.

We went for a train ride too!!

Weekly Update

This is a weekly update mommy gets from my childcare every week. At the end of each month, teacher Christina would send a presentation slide with photos on our happenings during the past month to mommy too. I enjoy going to school everyday. I like the teachers, and my favourite teacher is 何老师!

Thomas & Friends

We were in the room when Jayden shouted. "Daddy, Mommy! I want to see Thomas & Friends at Marina Square!" We realised that he was flipping through today's TODAY papers in the living room. It was the 1st time he flipped the papers himself. Usually he would be the one snatching papers away to catch our attention!
Anyway, we'll be going to catch Thomas & Friends soon....

Rocky or Pocky?

Jayden asked... why is this not pocky? but it looks like pocky!

Cos it was bought in Malaysia was the reply...

Jayden has been asking many WHYs now... basically, everything.. from eating, sleeping, to going home! Why are we eating pasta today? Why are we sleeping now? Why are we going home?

Hamburger Skin

This is some sauce to go with the dumplings...
Jayden says "this is hamburger skin..." It looks like it indeed! Agreed!

Our conversation

Scene: Over dinner
Mummy: Please help me to on the fan, its so warm!
Jayden touches mummy's neck and says: You're not sweaty.
Mummy: I'm feeling hot inside.
Jayden: Your stomach feeling hot?
Mummy: Yes, please on the fan.
Jayden turned on the fan...
Jayden: Mummy, open your mouth.. let the wind go in, cos your stomach's hot!

Hahaha!! Isn't a three year old adorable??

Outings

Our weekly sunday getaways... to my grandparents place in Yishun...
These few weeks, we've been out exploring the suburbs. We went to Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve two weekends ago and got numerous mosquito bites! Last sunday, we went to Seletar Airport. It was great fun going out with my cousins.
Look!! Daddy even got a mango! It's very sour!

This is my pretty cousin Gracia. She's 7 years old this year and she's 4 years my senior...

We stopped by Yishun Dam to throw stones into the sea. Daddy made a stone hop 6 times before the stone finally sank into the water! Wow!!

Great Grandpa

Great Grandpa lived 94 years... He died of old age in his sleep. He lived through world war, owned many businesses, one of the founders of Hainanese Association in Masjid Tanah (Malacca), lived with the extended family... blessed with many grandchildren and two great grandsons! We just attended his funeral last week.

I'll treasure my love ones and love them even more from now on... :)
