An early celebration. We had planned to go to Marina Barrage for a picnic to celebrate my birthday... however, it rained! Everybody came over to my place instead...

We moved the picnic to our home...

I had a birthday kiss too.... *blush*

Daddy and mommy got me this book... It's the one and only one in the whole wide world... :)

The mini police motorbike's from grandpa, grandma and ah gu... When the box was opened! I said "wow!!" I was so happy and excited! Thanks ah gong for fixing up the bike for me... We have to charge the bike for 18 hours! Thus, I can only play it at 2pm tomorrow! It's such a long wait...

I've received many Hongbaos too... Thank you! Mommy's gonna save the money for me...

A Day at the Hospital

We spent the day at the hospital... lots of waiting.. and finally decided to go ahead with the stitching.
Jayden had been really brave..
He was sedated.. meaning he was still concious, but he can't move a muscle. He could only answer me by blinking his eyes. He was so helpless...
There were two wounds on his tongue... one superficial and one very deep and open wound..
The stitches were done in minutes... Kudos to the doctor and dental surgeons...
Jayden's now walking, jumping and eating too! After a day of fasting... he finished up a pancake from Mr Bean, a cup of soya bean milk and a bowl of campbell soup! It was a right move to go ahead with the stitching..
Thanks to the doctors - Dr Eugene Han and Dr Charlene Goh, NUH.

What's Life?

Life is complicated... u have to go through it happy or sad...
Life is fragile... anything can happen!
Life is vulnerable... things which you don't foresee just happens...


Plenty of thoughts... cos now Jayden's down with Chicken Pox, he just had a bad fall, a deep cut on his tongue, and there were lots of blood! Luckily the blood stopped when we arrived at the hospital... the Doc was very kind, advised us to observe for a night and allow the wound to heal by itself... otherwise, would have to go NUH or KKH for stitching... Jayden's a brave boy... he told the Doc it didn't hurt.. But when he's home, he can't sleep, cos it hurts badly! Hope the week pass quickly!!!

I really must Thank God for this little lesson... Jayden has now learnt his lesson.. I saw him standing on the backrest of the massage chair yesterday! The consequences could have been worse if he fell from there! Now, he promised that he won't climb on chairs anymore... Surfed the web just now, some kids broke their teeth, fractured their jaws, etc... the photos looked terrible and scary!

Yiyi's Birthday!

Jayden just called yiyi.. "Yiyi, when are u coming back? I've made something for you.... Something nice..." Jayden could really keep the surprise to himself... he didn't reveal what he did! That's a first!

Chicken Pox

The inevitable happened. I am down with "CHICKEN POX"... :(
There had been a few cases of kids down with chicken pox and HFMD in school these few months.

*When Jayden saw the 1st sentence... he said... "You wrote wrongly. It's not chicken pox... it's mosquito bites. So many mosquitos bit me!"
