PTC - Parents Teachers Conference

It's the mid year review... Jayden has improved a great deal from the last time we met up with the teachers. He's eating his greens and finishing them, although he still has to be 'forced' to eat fruits. He told the teachers he cannot eat fruits, cos mommy said he's coughing, but he could eat ice-cream!

Teacher's teaching them independance and solving simple issues between themselves. Kids always complain in school, ie, so and so stepped on my feet, so and so pushed me, etc... Teacher would want them to talk to each other and shake hands to make up... Jayden's character is such that he forgets unhappy stuff easily. He doesn't bear grudges. And teacher also mentioned that he has good memory skills. And since he could read, he always pretended to be 'teacher' in school and read to other kids... :)

He's copying words from the peoms the teacher taught in school...
"School school a happy place. I like to come here everyday."

Interesting! I didn't know he could write, cos we didn't practise writing at home... but its so nice.. his 1st readable piece of work... :)
Jayden's grown up....

Grown Up

Jayden has all grown up. He went for the dental checkup... He was really brave to let the dentist check and clean his teeth! :)
By the way, the dentists at AH were really friendly. They made him a balloon using gloves... It was an elephant balloon... interesting!

Jayden was able to order his own drink too! He wanted to drink grass jelly drink. But since mommy already bought a drink, if he wanted that, he had to order himself...
And he really went to the drink stall (by looking at the signs) and ordered himself... :)


Last by not least, he stayed away from home for a night! Away from daddy and mommy... he slept over at grandpa's place by himself... :) Although he said he missed daddy and mommy and woke up in the middle of the night looking for mommy, but he did not cry.. He slept after drinking milk and woke up at about 8.30am to pee...

My little darling has grown up... :)

Fathers' Day

We didn't do much last Sunday. After Shichida class, we went 313 for breakfast and decorated a cake. We tried to draw Daddy on the cake... and look at the finished product. It sure didn't look like daddy!

We went to East Coast Park to eat the cake and play with the sand... :)

Kids Model Search - Catwalk

Kids Model Search

Jayden joined the Kids Model Search at Marina Square last Sunday. He had to do a catwalk down the stage. Subsequently, he was selected for a makeover for a photoshoot for the next round.
Will upload his catwalk video soon... he only walked halfway down the aisle and ran/hopped back! He's too active to behave himself, and kept making funny faces during the photoshoot.

Question: How old is Doraemon?
Answer: He's born in the future... in the year 2112. So he's 40 now? Cos 2010 is the 40th Anniversary...

Family Day at AH Childcare

It's the 1st and last Family Day Alexandra Hospital (AH) Childcare is having... soon, another childcare - Little Skool House will be taking over...

Transformers

Transformers... more than meet the eye! It was impressive! Optimus Prime and Bumblebee appeared in their true form, a truck and a car respectively. And they transformed in front of our eyes!! Jayden was so disappointed that he was not called to go on stage. He had wanted the toy so much!

Movie @ USS

Yes... we went to Universal Studios Singapore again! Mommy said I'm still too small to play the rides, so they only brought me to USS in the evenings.. And this time was to watch the movie - Kungfu Panda!
Whenever I was there, I would request to buy the popcorn. Yippee!! Movie and munching popcorns, shiok!
