Marina Barrage

We went kite flying at Marina Barrage last Saturday morning. It was so so hot that day!

They looked like they were fishing! But in actual fact, they were flying kite! Just when the kite was flying beautifully, it suddenly sky dived... and really went diving! It was so tiring to retract back the string.. and the kite after being soaked in the water was so very heavy! And just then, another kite dropped into the water. Both kites were tangled! We had to cut the string.....

The Daily Scoop

It's an ice cream cafe in Holland Village. Jayden remembered he ate the "cookie monster" favoured ice cream there before! And that was about half year ago since we were there!! We had cookie monster ice cream, strawberry shortcake ice cream and mango magic ice cream with waffle. Yummy!!

Night Safari

We finally went to Night Safari! There was no school today. It was Daddy's and my 1st trip to the Night Safari! We reached there early, bought our tickets and had dinner. We'll be going to the Jurong Bird Park next week. Daddy bought the 2 parks tickets with tram rides... It costed $123 for a family of 3.

We did not manage to take many photos at the Night Safari as no flash photography was allowed. It was really dark in Night Safari... and some of the deer were really close to us, right beside the tram when we were travelling around...

Daddy was really daring, he held the snake! I did not even dare to touch the snake. I finally touched it... it felt smooth and dry!

Breakfast in a tent

At Jayden's request... we went camping at East Coast Park. Since we were there early, we bought breakfast there too... Such a great weather... no rain, no flood, no fallen trees... just us at the beach in our tent!

Railway track

Looking for someplace to spend just 5 minutes... before the ERP ends, we went to the railway track. Jayden did not dare to walk on the track despite having a good view of any incoming trains! The teachers must have taught him well... they could see the train passing by their school daily... how scenic!

Breakfast

A nice rainy and cooling Saturday morning... I slept till after 9 this morning! I've just finished my bottle of milk (220ml) and now eating the pancakes mommy and I made... yummy!! A nice way to start my weekend... :)

East Coast Cycling

We spent 3 hours at East Coast Park yesterday. We had wanted to cycle on our own bicycles. But Jayden was too slow! haha... so we got a child seat for him. We cycled for 2 hours... it was good exercise!
There is a new Skate Park near Bedok Jetty. The boys had a great time playing at the slopes... Jayden kept asking for one more time!
After returning the bicycles, we still went to build sandcastle... :)

Pasta De Waraku

Hey, we went to Jayden's favourite restaurant again... Pasta de Waraku.. He loves to go there as there are always toys for him! A door gift + a toy with every order of kids meal. And best of all, the kids meal comes with ice-cream for dessert!

Look what Jayden got today... A spiderman yoyo which is lighted up with it rolls back and a bow and arrow set. He had been asking mommy to get a set for him as he wanted to be an archer!

Little Skool House

It's official. July 2010. Little Skool House at Alexandra Hospital.

A new management had taken over. The school fees will be double of what we had paid after subsidy previously. So we have high expectations of the new school. *Keeping fingers crossed*
