Pencil Holder

Mommy's colleague's son, Dylan, did a similar pencil holder for his teachers.... Doesn't it look beautiful? We decided to do the same too! This time, daddy played a part too... daddy glued all the ice-cream sticks onto the box... So cute, and it matches well with my new room - safari theme... :)))

Happy Teachers' Day

Not too sure if there's any celebration in school today. There was no half day, no wearing of home clothes, or mention of party. But the teachers received lots of presents!! We made some for the teachers too... :)
Jayden's very proud of his artwork... and meticulously kept the finished artwork in the display cabinet until this morning, when he brought them to school.

Flying Kite

Kor kor did that to try fly the kite... Then he was tired and 'flew' the kite by riding the bicycle... Jayden followed... and though there was no wind to help fly the kite up, they had a great time running!!

btw, my son corrected my english... he wanted the title to be "Flying Kite" instead of "Kite Flying"...

Enrichment Classes???

Disappointing... It's been 2 months since Little Skool House took over. School fees are up, and school syllabus remain. New enrichment classes cost a bomb! The proposed enrichment classes - iPerform, Dance and StoryWorks. The name says it all... they are actually speech and drama, dance which includes hip hop, broadway jazz, tap, disco, cha cha, modern jass, etc. And Story telling in a "special way"? And they cost $162.65, $123.30 and $100.60 per month respectively!!
The school is very proud of the meals they provide the children. Gave us detailed daily food menus from breakfast, lunch to tea-break. So bulk of the increase in $$ is spent on planning and cooking huh?!?
Wondering what a $950/month childcare actually does? How will my child stand out from those from a $500/month childcare??
Just did a check, Studio Wu a reputable dancing school offers Wu's Kidz Programme, dance lessons for kids too, at $220 per term.

But are these classes a necessity?

Malacca

We just spent the long weekend at Malacca. Yes, again... and we enjoyed ourselves very much!! :)
We went to eat the chicken rice balls once we were there... we had a really late lunch at 3+pm!
Daddy got me a cowboy hat! Does it look like Woody's hat in Toy Story 3?
I went to draw a tatoo too! A tatoo of Doraemon... isn't it cute!
A really yummy dim sum place... with a large variety of food.
This is called Satay Culup. It's actually satay sauce steamboat! It's spicy and I had to wash off the spice before eating it. I ate like 7 sticks!! And I cleared my bowels within the next hour! Haha!!
I swam everyday! Hmmm... that was 3 days in a row! And mommy got me a new swimming wear. Top and a swimming trunk. I've outgrown my current swimsuit already!!
Toys, Toys and more Toys! We went to this shop opposite my great grand father's coffee shop in Malacca town. And bought lots of toys and a new huge kite! Can't wait to go Marina Barrage to fly my new kite!

This is one of my new toys - a car transporter!

We are now at Masjid Tanah... about half an hour away from Malacca town... I love coming here cos everyone loves me and kept giving me toys and nice, yummy food!
Daddy gave me a ride in mommy's uncle's farm.... I didn't dare to ride at 1st, but I got the hang of it and kept asking daddy for another ride! Mommy didn't dare to ride, cos she had fallen from a bike once! Yup, she was the rider!!

Guess where was I playing my car? On a "food" slope... food for the pigs that is...
I'm washing daddy's car using a hose... it was great fun!
Happy Birthday to the August babes...

We bought a new basket for my bicycle, and look... the basket's full of new toys and stuff just for me! Thanks everyone for the great time!
